The AP2 especially has aged much better than most cars from its era. Feel the same way about the NA2.

Do you have any issue clearing speed bumps with exhaust piping hanging that low?

Looks great JB!
Was that a factory color? I don't know a ton on the 4G/SN95 Mustangs.

Rooting for Acura

I remember the first time I saw a Mystic Cobra. It was in 1996. I was in Florida driving down the highway with a friend headed toward Miami. That Cobra came pass, and when I saw it change from green to purple with a tinge of gold my jaw hit the floor board! The Cobra was already a cool car but that paint job was (and still is) very special, especially from a major manufacturer, especially at that time.
I've always wondered though, do you have to live with all the paint imperfections over time (rock chips and the like)? I can't imagine touch up or even paint matching on that thing. I guess that leads to my next question. You got a clear wrap on that beauty?

The only other immediate car with the color-shift type paint, OEM, that I can think of is the TVR Tuscan Speed6.

Thanks all!!
They do make a Mystic touch-up but you can only touch up certain areas. Example... bumper is easier than the hood b/c of the way the light reflects off of each surface (way more noticeable on the hood). That said mine is a driver. 117k miles and it does have rock chips. Sadly no paint protection and at this point it does not make sense. I am considering repainting the front bumper but not sure if it's worth it...

The 2004 Cobra also has a similar paint... that one is called MystiChrome and it more or a bluish-purple-green shift (no blue in mine) which uses a ChromaFlair pigment. Only available in 2004 and they only made like a thousand of those... so they're even harder to find than the 1996 Mystic
