Valentine 1 w/ Concealed Display & hardwire kit V1.8 Radar Detector

Item Condition: Used

Up for sale is my Valentine 1 radar detector and accessories. Surprised to be selling this, but I got an Escort Passport 9500ix as a surprise Christmas gift this year, and since it was from my dad, I figured I would go ahead and use it.

So, nothing at all wrong with it, just took it out today. I can provide the serial number if requested. I just ran the serial through Valentine1.com, came back as:
V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8.A-POP2 with Euro Mode.
Comment: This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser.

I will include everything it came with, which includes:

-Original Box
-cigarette lighter coiled power cord
-suction cups, including extras
-windshield mount
-visor mount

Also includes the concealed display. In the interest of full disclosure, sometimes the mute button sticks a little bit. Not a big deal, just wanted to throw it out there.

Finally, includes the hardwire kit from Safe N Sound on eBay, along with all the necessary wiring.

So this is literally everything you need to hardwire this into your car, and also maintain a coiled cord should you want to use it in a different car.

Selling for $350 shipped via paypal as a gift.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I've been considering getting a radar detector for a while. I need to read up on this more but from what I hear, this is the one to get.

Yea, it really is. I actually looked into a 9500ix a couple months ago on my own, but determined it would have been a lateral move and not an upgrade, plus I liked the arrows. Oh well, mixing things up now I guess.

So tempting!

I believe this is supposed to trump all the other detectors on the market... Is there any particular reason you're switching other than it being a gift?

Quite honestly, no. I'm a little worried it's not a good enough reason and that I'll miss it and the arrows, but I've already committed and installed the other one, so it is what it is. They're both about as good as it gets without spending stupid amounts of money, so you really can't go wrong I don't think with either.

Would you be willing to sell the V1 unit alone without the concealed display? I don't even need the wiring or paper work just the V1 unit. I have everything else already.

As of now, I would rather sell the whole setup to someone I think.

I have one myself and used it on my back and forth trips from TX to GA. 9 times I've made the trip without a hitch! This last time, #10, I felt a little too confident not connecting my V1 and was pulled over twice....lol.

I did my fair share of researching and hunting around before I bought my V1 and could not find one, with everything that you are including for this price, so I just bought new. They are worth EVERY PENNY, and then some (as I recently found out....lol)!

I'm not implying anything, just informing that paypal payments made as a gift will not allow you to make any claims, if necessary, since there are no items/parts involved. Insurance and tracking numbers are suggested.
