ROTORA BIG BRAKE KIT VS. STOCK BRAKES
CALIPER WEIGHT (loaded calipers):
Rotora: 9.9 lbs. Stock: 15.1 lbs.
DISC WEIGHT:
Rotora: 17.2 lbs Stock: 18.4 lbs.
NOTE: Rotora big brake kit needs minimum 17” wheels. View attachment for brake clearance chart.
FEATURES/BENEFITS:
-Rotora’s two piece cast aluminum, heat-treated (4-piston) calipers (application specific) provides stock pedal feel while increasing the clamp load/force to ensure equal distribution of weight transfer during braking.
-Rotora’s street performance pads that are included were designed to improved stopping distance while keeping the squeal at a minimum. Provides higher coefficient of friction which work exceptionally well under high temperatures. The ideal pad for all-around performance.
-Stainless steel, braided brake lines prevent brake hose expansion under pressure and improve stiffer pedal feel. All Rotora’s steel braided lines are DOT approved and pressure tested to 3,000 psi to meet FMVSS-106 (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards) standard.
-Cross drilled/slotted rotors to ensure heat dissipation for continuous hard braking (which helps reduce warping, and brake fade) and keeping the rotor and brake pad surface free of excess brake dust and debris.
-"E-coated" (black) finish plating on rotors to prolong life and reduce rust build up.
-Direct bolt on replacement to all stock front brake system (some applications requires the removal of the stock dust cover shield).
-Larger surface area compared to stock O.E. Acura CL/TL rotors which will increase brake performance.
-All systems are abs compatible.
-All pistons with dust seals.

i never purchased a set of brembo so i cant tell u which one is better... but i can tell u that the pedal feels very smooth & solid without the stock spongy feels... the brake distance reduced i would say 30% compare to stock... very smooth & powerful... i think this setup is worth the money for performance & safety.

F.Y.I. guys, i ordered a set yesterday and they'll be installed next week. Loren at Rotora was great to work with and i think this is a hell of a deal I did get the ceramic pads for even better stopping and less dust. We'll see, i hope they are close to Brembo performance for a thousand less. I'll let you guys know once i've road tested
P.S. I'll need better braking next week after my next mod

F.Y.I. for those of you who are considering this deal. Even though i have aftermarket 18 inch Volks, i still needed spacers for the calipers to fit right. It was very close, but they were still needed. Still waiting to test, i will follow up with review.

My RIMS are really close to my stock Calipers too.
I can’t even get my pinky finger in-between there.
I was really considering getting in on this, but I would need to test-fit a wheel first before I spent that much.
Plus I’m almost sure my 16” snow rims wouldn’t clear.

OK guys now I got a question for u.
I am looking into getting 19" for my car, but they only come in +45 offset. Now I am also gonna be throwing on my H&R Racing springs. Question will that all fit? No, then is it because it would not be able to tuck underneath the fender? So then I could simply roll the fender to allow the rims to fit, right?
Now the other question I have is will a BIG brake kit fit my rims. I would emagine that a lower offset (+45) compared to stock would allow more clearance for the calipers.
Oh yea the rims are 19x8 with a +45 offset.

My setup is 19x8 +47 and I have Comptech springs. Need to know if this will also fit if I changed to H&R Sport. I have no idea how to read the brake clearance chart.
Can anyone help? Thanks

On ur 19"s u said that they are 7.5" wide? what offset do u have and how much space do u have between the caliper and the rim.
Tnx
