NEX SS Coilovers 2G

I've got a set of NEX SS Coilovers from my 99 Accord Coupe (Street version not Race) for sale. They have been sitting in storage and I've decided not to install them again and stay with an OEM suspension.

Fits the following cars
- Acura TL 99-03
- Acura CL 01-03
- all 6th Gen Accords (98-02); coupe / sedan, i4 / v6

I had the coils on for about a year and about 30k (19k Miles) on them. I'm currently cleaning the threads as there is dirt / clay caked on it and I'll post a more recent photo when it's clean.

- lowers the car close to 4" in the front and close to 5" in the back so you can basically slam it down to the ground
- the current setup leaves about a 1.5 - 2 finger gap that was setup for winter driving when I removed it 2 years ago
- the springs and perch adjust independently so you can lower the car without changing the spring rate
- the suspension height and spring rate adjustable not damper adjustable
- the lowest I had it was 0 - 0.5 finger gap and I never once scraped over speed bumps or curbs
- original packaging and tools included

Here is a pic of the coils when I got them new. They are of course not as clean now...

Asking $400 or best offer.
For local buyers, I'll offer $500 installed
- I will swap your suspension out but not adjust height
- you will need to get an alignment

Dibbs goes to the first person to pay. Please feel free to post questions but use PM for offers, etc.

These coilovers are stiff. They are not as stiff as the race version but I'd say they were stiffer than Tein SS at the most stiff damper and lowest height setting. They are not as stiff as the Tein race coilovers (Flex, RA, Mono, etc) but somewhere in between.

When you jam the brakes, the car will not dive down like the OEM suspension nor will raise up when accelerating. There is very little body roll when cornering. You will definitely feel all the bumps on the road and if you are driving through construction zone, you'll need to slow down.

They have to be stiff if you want to avoid scraping over speed bumps. I was riding with no finger gap all around on my Accord and I never scraped my from lip (OEM lip kit). The only time I scraped it was on snow and ice! and it was my wife who damaged the front lip not me!

I've got an NSX and the NEX coils are stiffer than the OEM NSX suspension. Now I have Bilstein and custom springs on my NSX and the NEX is only "slightly" stiffer but almost the same. I've taken a ride on Tein RA and Flex coils on the NSX and they are literally bone jarring! The NEX are not nearly as harsh but definitely stiff.

Does that help?

I'm wondering how much shipped to Vancouver BC Canada in CDN? Thanks man.

I'm also wondering how high is it if you use the highest setting (like OEM height?).

Shipping to Vancouver should be a bit cheaper than the US but not much. It's looking to be anywhere from $70 - $100 US to ship to the US. I suspect it will be around $80 CAD.

It's not possible to get OEM height with these. You can probably get it as high as 2 - 2.5 finger gap all around but OEM 4+ fingers...
