I have for sale a set of HT-Spec V2 Type 1 coilovers that came off my 06 TL. They're height adjustable only.
I've had them on for around 5,000 miles and the only problem I had, you might have to readjust the preload on one of the rear struts. The preload adjustment seemed to come loose so the spring was moving around and made a knocking noise before I took them off.

I'm just saying, not to mess with your for sale thread:
Did you try adjusting the pre-load yourself to see if the pre-load was actually causing the noise?
One of my rear struts was blown after two weeks of regular usage. At first, I thought it was the pre-load, then the bushing, then finally it was determined that it was blown.
I had it replaced under warranty, but of course I had to pay for labor the couple times I went to the shop.
I understand it is sold as is, just wanted to throw my experience out there.

+1 < here from experience from noise you mentioned. Just be sure and honest it is something that can be fixed by a simple adj as you said rather then a warranty fix on the buyers end...That won't be cool. And if so, then send it in under warranty and get it replaced with BRAND NEW ones.
I thought about setting the preload myself but I don't have the time to throw them back on to test them and then reinstall my stock struts. Get what I mean?
I'd rather deal locally. If there is a problem then I'd bring it back to Mr. Marcus myself.

No offense bro... i did not say or assume anything regaurding u scamming anyone in anyway. I offered info from experience before a buy feel a sour taste finding u sold a bad shock. I personally never heard perch or pre load issues. Thats all. And last, the issue does not get dealt with Marcus per say. Warranty in through F2. Again, comment from experience and just trying go offer you what i know for sure.
