FS: TSX Supercharger (Comptech) *Rare*
Okay folks. I am selling my Comptech Supercharger for the TSX with about 10,000 miles on it..as is... The kit includes all parts including a brand new comptech heatshield intake manifold gasket and new gatorback belt. I am also including the carb certification sticker since I never put it on my car. I am in need of some cash at this point so I have to let go of this baby. I will miss the power so much!!
The kit is coming off of a 2005 5AT but can be put on a 2004 to 2006 TSX 6MT... You will need to contact hondata to inquire about getting the s/c reflash for your vehicle...but rumor has it that Hondata will be releasing the K-PRO for the TSX 6MT soon.
The kit also includes the recently designed comptech automatic tensioner assembly which increases the reliability of the kit by virtually reducing belt wear/slippage. This item is brand new and can not be purchased anywhere since it is completely sold out. (Retail price=$350). The supercharger kit originally comes with a mechanical tensioner which I will also include.
For the 2004/05 5AT owners, I am also selling a 2004 ECU with the S/C Auto tranny reflash as well as the matching immobilizer and key.
Price breakdown:
1) TSX S/C kit + New Automatic Tensioner = $2,800
2) TSX S/C kit + Auto Tensioner + 5AT ECU (For 04 and 05 5AT)= $3,400
**A brand new TSX S/C is going for $4,200 on ebay and it doesn't include the automatic tensioner. In addition, they will not work on a 2005 5AT. I would prefer local pickup or will personally deliver in NY/NJ area. However, I am willing to ship.

I read about it at the other TSX forum.. here's what was posted:
"hey for those who have been waiting for an engine management from Hondata patience will soon pay off. a good friend of mines who owns a shop down by is good friends with the creators of Hondata and we spoke on Saturday afternoon hanging out and he informed that they already have Hondata K-Pro for the 04-05 TSX but will not be releasing it until the end of May or towards the summer. the only reason for this is because when it is hooked up to the TSX the cruise control stops working and he wants to get this fixed since the TSX is a higher class type car and knows the owners would want that option. its also gonna have the jumper harness so he is saying it wont be messing with the stock ECU its just gonna be jumped from it and the K-Pro will send the info to the ECU. i'll be at the shop again on Wed so if u got any Quesions let me know and i can also find out for you. hope this has been some helpful information."

The kit also comes with a used fuel pump with an already modified fuel pressure regulator. You can either swap out the modified fuel pressure regulator with your stock one or swap the fuel pumps.

Today is my bday but i'm in a giving mood.. price has been reduced...Also, with the news that Comptech will not be closing down probably means that they will still honor the warranty and you can still buy any misc parts. I will provide the receipt as well.

I haven't taken in pictures. I actually just put the kit in storage but i would try to get some pics if you really want to see them. You can private message RYAN97812 from the TL forum. He installed and removed the kit for me, and he can vouch that the kit is in good shape. I am selling because I am in need of some funds now and looking to trade my car in shortly.

So the re-flashed ECU you have was orginally a '04 A/T ECU, correct? I have automatic '05 and just want to confirm that it will work.
How much do you think shipping will cost? I live in Arlington, TX 76017.

Yes, it would work. I would be supplying the immobilizer and key that is matched to the 04 ECU. The key is actually an accord keyfob that moda_way made for me. You can either contact him and have him place a cut of your 05 key into the keyfob and you'll be set... or you can just tape the 04 key to the steering column (which is not a secure method).

Here are the dimensions that Comptech lists for the SC kit on their website. You'll probably need a bigger box, since you're gonna throw the ECU in there, but the weight should be close.
