You will need to place some teflon tape, electrical tape, a plastic cap, or something similar to fill the gap and allow you to thread on the knob tightly. I had it installed on my 2002 TL-S though and it was fine. Thanks.

They are intended for the accord/odyssey alloy wheels and fit the TL-S wheels. I am confident there are other models that they will fit but these are the only ones I can confirm. Part number is shown in the pic for reference and they are brand new, never used.

Thanks,

Mike

Sure thing bud. I will measure tonight and try and post some more pics for you so you can see the number of clips on the backside.

That said I dislike dealerships a great deal. I used to work at Honda and my friend worked in parts and hooked me up all the time and was straight with me (obviously) but our local Acura dealer always gets shady about anything that isn't "standard." Talk to you soon...

Here is backside pic of the center caps.

They are 2 9/16" in diameter and just under 9/16" deep. You can see they have 6 clips. Thanks.

for the blacked out housing internals what kind of paint did u use? would all i have to do is switch the internal out, clear it, add the rear headlight housing and external housing and seal them up? i'm interested in blacking out/clearing my headlights.

Hi,

You are correct. You would just follow the steps for clearing your lights and pull apart the factory housings. Then when you pull out the chrome inserts you can just place these in their place.

The paint I used was 3 coats of barbeque high temp matte black followed by 4 coats of this special rustoleum painters choice flat matte black finish. The painters choice product claimed to adhere to various materials, including plastic, in a better fashion and is supposed to be longer lasting.

I can send more pics if you'd like also. Thanks for the interest.
