I have a nice looking set of nex coilovers that I would like to sell. They are the SS coilovers. They have the purple spring and the anodized gold shocks. They have spring rate adjustments as well as the seperate ride height control. I hear that these are a little rougher riding, so I am wanting to purchase a set of tein SS or Flex with the control module. These fit 98-02 accord and 99-03 TL or 01-03 Cl. I am not sure how many miles are on them, I never had them on my car, but they are really clean and look about new. I did however notice that one of the rear threades collars was a little messed up, kind of like someone had used a hammer and a screwdriver like I have done on other cars.

there is no cracked one, it is just one of the lower perches has been hit with a hammer and a screwdriver, that is all, they are all still fully functional and they look like a great set up, I just decied I wanted the Teins instead

 

how will that affect the quality and performance of that particular coil-over with that damaged perch?

 

from what I know about the guy I bought them from, this set his car down about 2in in the from and about 2/1/4in in the back, he said that this didn't affect the ride at all. I agree with him, it is the spring perch, that has nothing to do with the ride, this pirce doesn't move when you are driving the car anyway. this is just what the spring is sitting on.

so the only flaw on this set up is the lower perch??? not the top perch right??? Are u the first owner and what's the total mileage on the coilovers itself? Are you firm on that price?? I know someone that might be possibly interested...

 

No it is the top perch. I saw it on the guys car and it looked awsome, just the right amount of drop and it was level. Also it is on the spring rate adjustment anyway and these ride stiff and the rears are already adjusted to where there is hardly any compression load on the spring. There is nothing wrong with the lower adjustment. The lower adjustment it what actually adjusts the height anyway. I just need to get rid of these because I got teins to pay for. I will sell these for 325 and I will pay for the shipping if somebody will please buy them. Again, I have no idea how many miles are on these. I never installed them. They look like a really nice set up though.

just forget it, I have had 4 people say that they have the money and are definately going to buy one of the sets of coilovers, well They are no longer for sale because nobody can make up their mind. The nex set is not broken just one of the ride height perches haven't been adjusted with one of the wrenches and there is nothing wrong with the other set, the are all aluminuim and look brand new. BUT that doesn't matter because nobody that says they want them really does... So I am going to throw them in the trash tomorrow morning because I have no use for them and it looks like none of you all do either.
