These are the picts of the adapter i made for the temp sensor for the tranny so people and see what i did.
The gold adapter - made of 2 barb 3/8in diameter fittings, 1- 3/8in coupler, and 1- 3/8in male to female with a 1/8in npt hole. i found all these fittings in the plumbing section of home depot. it costed roughly $15 or so to build this. i actually need to redue it the teflon tape did not seal too good.
the way i had it hooked up before it looked completely different than it is now. when i had the old trans with the jet kit on the outside there is a rubber tube that you cut right in for the return line on the jet kit. the jet kit goes where the fill bolt is. if you look down that kit there is a rubber hose. just cut that and tap this fitting in. for the new updated trans im assuming there is a connection on the back of the trans that i can not see. when i got the new updated trans the guy just did it for me. so i have not crawled under yet so im not sure where its tapping in from. but it looks like the same area. so i hope this helps. if anyone needs more info on how to hook up the gauge feel free.
