FS: 18" Axis Mod w/Hankook tires 225x40x18 --$900 firm - local only

I'm posting this for the guy i bought and returned the rims from. He's a local guy here in Queens NY.
Its 4 perfect (no dents/scratches/rash) wheels. One tire has rub wear though but the tires were only rode on for 1k miles he said. I returned them to him because he had the Maxis lip for the rears (which has a lip of 2 5/8 inch, the fronts are the regular 2 1/4 inch). The Maxis lipped wheels has an offset of only 35 mm, the 2 regulars have a 42mm offset for the staggered look. Those rears will rub on a CL if its lowered (thats why i returned them to him).

These are the silver ones
5 x 114.5 Bolt pattern
$900 firm

Yes these will rub on 99-03 TLs. These may fit on the new gen TLs, but forget about the older generations.

I have 225/40/18 on H&R springs and I NEVER RUB on my 02 TLS.

I even put some tape on the bumper tab to see if I would have to shave it and I haven't had to.

So I can say with confidence that on H&R 50103 they will not rub (except perhaps over crazy bumps) - likewise, they never rubbed on my Comptechs (which eventually rusted)

It doesnt matter what springs he has. they will rub. The offset is wrong for our cars, A 35 and a 42 is too low. He may get a way with the 42 (highly doubtfull) but the 35 for sure will rub
