I would like to know also.

I know you need the wiring harness which is usually the chunk of the cost (minus installation).

Where is the top part of it? Where it says the time and temperature and stuff.

are you kidding me? you have to take the upper part off first before you take your navi unit out. that's the first thing you have to take out before anything.

by the way, i'm looking for that piece.

to do a conversion you need

1) Sub display (clock temp etc)
2) You need JUST the navi screen you can reuse your cd/radio
3) You need the dvd drive that goes in the trunk along with the code and the dvd
4) Steering wheel controls you can do without this
5) MOST important you need to contact martin pan look him up on ebay his number is there and he will sell you a harness for 300-400 i forgot the price

if you get this entire set INCLUDING installation done by him it will cost $1700...he charges 200 for installation so approximately $1500-1600 just in parts

I didn't take that part out cause it was stuck on something so I just pulled the Navi unit out

You wil also need the GPS Antenna that plugs into the DVD player in the trunk. This is kind of important and it's also that antenna that will setup your Clock in the SubDisplay. PM me if you need the SubDisplay, I still have one in good condition with the housing (sorry OP for highJackin)
