I don't think the ride height difference is significant, the difference in weight between the two trannies is about 100 lbs, it's not much, less than the average passenger's weight.

Look I like these little debates but let's not clog up the thread.
I doubt the difference is 0.5", the correct A-Spec kit on it's own only lowers the ride height anywhere from 0.5-1", 5AT or 6MT. I had the A-Spec suspension on both my 5AT and 6MT TL, and I didn't see a significant difference in ride height even when I swapped the suspensions. Fact of the matter is that people don't buy the A-Spec suspension to slam their cars or to look good, they do it to stay OEM, get better handling and keep their warranty.
I recommend getting the correct A-Spec suspension for your car depending on the transmission. It's not just the weight difference, it's different sway bars, stiffer rear shock mount bushings for the TL-S, etc. Acura engineered different kits for different models for a reason.

I'm wondering if I should try and put this set on my 6th gen Accord or the 7th gen Accord HFP suspension (going for a mor elow key look vs my AMR's), anybody have any thoughts on the matter?

I'm not familiar with the 6G but I believe the 7G Accord's front shock mounts (top hats) are different from the TL's. Otherwise, after you swap the top hots it should bolt up (7G). It doesn't mean the suspension will perfectly suit your car so I don't recommend it, but it's your call.

Up for any type of trades? I've got my stock Tl-s wheels with good tires and a set up gloss black powder coated TL-s with almost brand new tires that I MIGHT be considering giving up if you were open to it.

Hi, up for sale a brand new set of 4 OEM shocks/springs which make up the A-Spec suspension kit. I have no use for it hence the sale.

The kit features firmer shock valving and higher springs rates. Stiffer shock mount bushings are used (metal instead of rubber). Up to approx. 1 inch lower ride height. Overall, this set up provides a sporty handling with little harshness.

So brand new meaning never installed?

Yeah, I hear this all the time, actually there are much more AT TL and than MTs but a lot of people mistakingly get the manual version of the suspension for their auto TLs. I'm not saying it's wrong but let's just say there are specific kits for each type of transmission for a reason. End rant!
