For some reason it won't fit on mine cause the hole is smaller. Maybe because I have a 99.

Just an FYI I have the TypeS shift knob on my 99 (painted the TypeS satin silver so not to be a poser.

If you drill out the threads in the knob a little, it will twist onto the 99 TL shift stalk.
