18" RJ Legends rims only - $800

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $600
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): Can-ON
Item Condition: Used

Hi AZiners,
Selling a set of 18" RJ Legends (+32 offset) with Falken 615's with 90% tread. They've been powercoated grey (wheel in picture foreground) and comes with RJ Centre Caps (one rim has a small chip on rim edge). It's a great design that complements the TL's agressive styling (I have a DD set in liquid graphite seen in the picture backgrond. Entire set has only seen one track day last year in late Oct (last one of 2011). Bought a S2K (Bruno's for you B-Line Mech fans) in Nov which has relegated my TL to winterbeater duty (partout of other boltons pending).

Asking $600. Rims only, tires have been sold

Pickup only in GTA (Fairview Mall area).

Thanks for looking and awaiting your PMs.

That's a good question, but it's pickup only and he is in Canada.

But, to the OP: Even though it's pickup only,

Please post a full size picture, large enough to see the actual condition of the entirety of each wheel.

C'mon folks... one of the 273 of you who have viewed this must be interested. Make me an offer. I'm looking for a set of wheels for my S2K if you've got something to trade.

Hmm. 375 views and still no PMs. Maybe it's due to 'JAWS' (Just-Another-Wheel-Sale) apathy or lack of instant gratification with no PICs in the message. So here we go...

The timeless design of the RJ Legends in any size are awesome but the 18's are the best rollers to complement your TL! Just enough to let everyone know that your ride is special but not too much that you might be lacking (ego, agressiveness, take your pick). That's what these make your ride - SPECIAL! Coupled with the Falken Azenis 615s, every corner is just begging you to power through it. Concerned about wet traction? It's an opportunity to put your driving skills to the test. Snow? forgetaboutit... that's what your stockies are for. Driving towards Hamilton or Montreal? TMP, Mosport DDT, and Shannonville are calling for you to lay down some Falken rubber. Powerdercoated in grey with just enough contrasting flecks to match any colour TL. You've always wanted a set of RJ Legends... You know you need a set of RJ Legends... in the perfect size.. PM me with your offer for these Falken laced RJ Legends.

And to satiate you 'pics-in-post' hoes...

You can always use a second set for snow tires. Might as well roll in style year-round. (yes, i do have two sets of RJ's in addition to my stockies).

Spring must be in the air! Keep the PM's coming. Last snowfall is behind us - time to make a move on wheels for the spring/summer/fall season. Motivated to sell - need to pay for a KPro for the S2K.

OK Aziners (especially those of you in the GTA) the snow is really done for the season (+12C today). Time to start thinking about taking those snows off and think about a timeless look for your rollers. When there's no need to mess with a great design change the name: Legacy is what RJ Sport Design calls this model now. Get these now and enjoy them for the next few months.

No reason to not be stoked! +32 isn't the native offet but Ron Jon has designed these for the 3G TL. RJ has renamed the model to Legacy but you can see on their site that they're for the 3G TL: http://www.ronjonwheels.com/legacy7.html

I've used this setup for many years without issue. Drop me a PM is you're interested in arranging a test fit.

All the way from SC to Canada, or the other way around, is a long ways for a test fit.

I pushed my upper ball joints outward a bit to make the camber I want. so there's less margin for scrub radius so... i'm not sure +32

do you have pictures of them on your car?

Fitment Pics - RJ Legend vs Stock

For those of you concerned with offset (as you should be) here are some pics to illustrate the clearance with the RJLs (+32) and stock (+48). RJs and stockies are on the passenger and driver side respectively.

Drop is ~1.25" on Tein SS all around. Rear Camber is -2.5. Fenders were rolled in anticipation of wider rims/tires but then I got the S2K.

I captured a bit of the the far side of the wheel well to show the clearance.

Front: Stock vs RJL

Rear: Stock vs RJL

Side View: RJLs

PM offers or questions! Need to make space in the garage.

Have a better side pic showing the full car? I'm curious to get a better idea of what they look like on the TL. Also, any idea on the weight?

Hi Ben,
Here's a pic from the RonJonWheels website of them mounted on a white 3G TL: http://www.ronjonwheels.com/ronjonim...rge/atls93.jpg

Weight is ~22lbs/ea also per the RonJonWheels website.

Regards,
