Converting Canadian to US cluster

Has anyone converted a Canadian market MDX to US by changing the cluster?

I guess I ought to add a little more info about this situation. I bought a used 2012 MDX , Canadian Elite model, from a car dealer in Ohio who got it from an importer at auction. After driving it for a few days i notices that the instrument cluster indicators didn't match what the owner's manual showed. I took the car to a Canadian Honda/Acura dealer and they confirmed that the cluster had been changed out but that the US cluster didn't "talk to" the Canadian computer that was OEM to the car. So what I've been told is that the Canadian software is not compatible with the US software. Duh? The 2012 MDX , US and Canadian, were made at the plant in Ontario. I can't believe that Honda/Acura would have two totally incompatible software packages in a car that was supposed to serve two markets: US and Canadian. So, what do I have to do, get a Canadian cluster to make the car factory OEM?

(OBTW) I find this site very hard to work with, if you see another post with more detail it's because the site doesn't tell you what's been posted, I think)
