Is the XSi a good upgrade from Rebel XT?

I use the camera for work and for pleasure. Mostly home interiors and exteriors, with some view shots. The XT does a fine job but I have the itch for something new and I have the XT sold for $350 if I decide to upgrade.

Thoughts?

Here are a few of my latest shots. These are straight from the camera.

i would say it is. more af points, faster fps, 14 bit raw, spot metering, live view, bigger brighter viewfinder, larger LCD screen etc etc.

It'll also give you better low light shots than the xt.

The Xsi is a nice bump up from the XT, but you should take a look at the difference and decide if it matters to you. Is your XT bottlenecking you in any way when you take pictures?

Because if the answer is no, then I'd suggest putting the money towards a lens instead.

I am very happy with my XSi, though it is my first DLSR and I have nothing to compare it to. You won't be disappointed with it.

Nice shots. What lens did you use?

If the XSi will help in low light situations, that would be right up my alley. That's about the most challenging aspect of interior photography I face. Some homes are a piece of cake, but the darker interiors and high ceilings can make it tough since I only use a 430EX for all my lighting.

the above shots are all with an EF-S 10-22mm.

If you shoot a lot of interiors, do you have CS3? I just found a tutorial for it's "HDR" capabilities, that uses four sample shots of an interior that's in the samples folder for CS3. Which is very normal looking once done. If interested let me know and I'll point you to it, it's a podcast on itunes.
