Still learning Dslr....
This time I did some color adjustments but overall "to my eye" it looked great. I mostly focused on cropping.
Please let me know what you all think for my 4th attempt and newbie to the Dslr world of photography. :thumb
Very, very cloudy day.
This one was actually in my back yard
These below are from Zilker Park:
This was on my way to Zilker. I don't what to say about this one but I wish it was a little bit more windy so the US of A Flag will PLEDGE. I thought it looked differrnt and with the city behind the bright green trees it shows the city that is growing.
Thanks all for looking.

Thanks man. I'm starting to get the hang of this
Dslr are actually really really fun camera to shoot. I actually take my time on the shutter now
Unlike on point n shoot I just take pictures of anything as if I was in a hurry.

the second shot is great, but it would help if you shoot in raw, and then
bring down the highlights (a bit) and then lower the shadow detail (a bit).
RAW files really show their strength in really high dynamic range shots like this.
Even still, I found these sorts of shots to be totally frustrating till I got
the 40D and started shooting HDR.
Nice work though.

Much better on the cropping, you are getting the hang of it.
Taking your time will serve you well in the future. Patience is a good thing in photography. Spend more time playing with aperture and shutter speed. Learn the different combinations of the two and their effects on one another. Your 2nd shot with the squirrel appears a bit dark. With a little PP (post-processing) I was able to bring it up a little. Here is a comparison of the original and edited version:
You are learning very quickly...kudos to you for your efforts
