For $2500, probably not. I don't really use the kit I have today and am probably going to sell it and get out of the "real camera" photography game. The majority of my picture taking these days is random stuff I need a picture of immediately and my daughter so my phone is the main go to. Ordered a Pixel 6 Pro for that very reason and am going to offload all the Sony stuff shortly.

I know. I've loved doing photography over the past 10 or more years but I just don't have the time to keep up anymore. Just the act of taking the picture is the beginning and I don't have time to manage a massive library, edit pics, export, share, etc. On top of that learn all the new editing methods/software along with all the tips and tricks that go with them. It's a big process that I just don't have time to keep up with anymore.

Sony Unlocks In-Camera Forgery-Proof Technology
Not sure what happens when you edit your own photos though

Sony announces the availability of its in-camera forgery proof photo technology for corporate business users. Using digital signatures processed at capture, Sony technology supports detection of any modification to an image, thus protecting it from fraudulent usage.
Following widespread issues with unauthorized editing and misconduct around digital photo data, Sony has developed forgery-proof technology, based on standard cryptography, for corporate users to safeguard images against future misuse.
With Sony’s in-camera signing mode activated, images are immediately cryptographically signed by the camera processor upon capture. Following this, any pixel modification, tampering or potential forgery will cancel the image signature, as the image manipulation will be detected by the customer’s own certificate server during examination.
Available on the Sony a7 IV, with expansion to other models to be considered in sequence, this new functionality streamlines the lengthy process required from image submission through to verification, all with the addition of extra security.

I vaguely recall Nikon and Canon had something like this back in the day.
It was mainly used by law enforcement for crime scene photos where they couldn't modify photos at all. Not even basic adjustments. Something like that.

Started to off load most of my Sony stuff as I'm getting out of the game, no time. Sold my 24-70GM pretty fast and have my 16-35f4 up now. That'll downsize me to just the A7II body and a 55mm prime that I'll keep for general use. The body isn't worth much anymore and the lens is solid. Also going to sell off my Peak Design backpack too.
If anyone is interested, hit me up.

So... Minolta, that was bought by Sony, had a "collaboration" with Leica back in the day... They made cheaper versions of Leica cameras/rangefinders under Minolta. If Sony want to make some $$$, they should do what Fuji did with the X100 line. The X100V has been out... going on 3 years and still out of stock everywhere. There seems to be a resurgence in popularity and people are scrambling to get their hands on one. I've had mine since early 2020 and still love it, it goes everywhere I go. Sony can make a rangefinder style, fixed lens camera like that, a throwback to those Minolta/Leica days, they'd sell quite well. But then again, another reason why people like Fuji cameras is for their film sims, something Sony won't be able to pull off

I will say Sonys 4-axis LCD display on the A7RV is by far one of the best implementations I’ve seen. Allows you to both tilt up and down like their displays have always done, but you can also fully articulate it like A7SIII.
