I picked mine up from a local shop for about $20 and cringed even at that price...

jupitersolo 02-28-2008 09:48 PM

The last time I was a store that sold these was $30. I had just spent $130 on a Crumpler bag.

EuRTSX 03-15-2008 09:33 AM

This thread is my weakspot.

Just got my $7MH yesterday. It'll definitely fit more than enough for a day out. Might even have room for a water bottle.

Where did you buy it from?

B&H. Unfortunately, I just realized that they sent me the $6MH instead of the $7MH. The 6 is actually a tad too small for what I want/need. I just e-mailed B&H for an RMA. We'll see how it goes.

srika 03-23-2008 04:47 AM

wtf??????? i thought b&h was 1 one of the (few) reputable places.... that sux

:werd:

Hope that doesn't happen with my shipment

:nervous:

Dan Martin 03-23-2008 10:28 AM

My last order from them had 23 items from 3 different warehouses and they got it all right. :)

I guess a fluke is bound to happen now and then...

Mizouse 03-25-2008 03:35 AM

you can say goodbye to my XTi, grip, 18-55 and 70-300 IS USM :(

:bye:

right now its TBA on what it will be replaced with

Oh, I'm pretty sure it was a fluke. This is the first time I had any sort of issue with them. They have already issued the RMA, so I'm not too concerned - just so long as they accept the return - which I had already started using before noticing it wasn't the right one.

:what: What happened. From the "tone" of that post, it doesn't sound like it was an amicable split.

srika 03-25-2008 12:22 PM

fluke ok... btw I was kinda :drunk: when I posted that... and I was kinda "more" freaked out because of that... of course stuff like that happens occasionally. lol.. I didn't even remember posting it until I saw it just now.  :whyme:

'Zouse what happened??

EuRTSX 03-25-2008 12:26 PM

I wish the 30D had one. I put a nice scratch on mine.

stogie1020 03-26-2008 02:48 PM

I just use one of those static plastic sheets from Fellows... I love the bubbles.

Mizouse 03-26-2008 04:37 PM

im probably going to put one on my next camera just because it is going to have a huge 3" screen.

stogie1020 03-26-2008 04:43 PM

You would think Canon would come up with something similar to the Nikon, and then charge $75 for it, although there really aren't any attachment points for it on the 40D.

itrhybrid 03-27-2008 01:03 AM

I think I'm done with high end point and shoots. Many make promising they just can't deliver. I'll get just a regular p&s later this year, but I think more to upgrade my wife's than for me.

edit, just noticed the Canon 870IS is now under $260
