FWIW, it's a Delkin Dual Charger with 2 BP-511 attachments. It charges both batteries at the same time and it has a car adapter.

Though, I wouldn't have bought it if I could find my wall charger and wasn't in a hurry this morning.
link?

i wanted to get the canon dual BP-511 charger, but i found out that it charges one battery at a time.

well i guess its more convenient than how you would normally charge 2 batteries

you gotta wait for the first one to finish charging, then remember that you are charging batteries and come back and check up on it, then swap it out and for the 2nd battery.

This is what I got (with the two charging plates):
http://www.delkin.com/products/batte...ger/index.html

I picked it up from a local camera shop. Turns out, I didn't need to buy it and they don't allow returns.

Casio Exilim S770 P&S

Nikon D300
18-200 DX f/3.5-5.6
Lowepro Fastpack 250

That's it.......for now.

I'm considering get the new 'Sunpak Carbon Fiber Tripod Pro 523P' before I leave to Cabo this weekend. At first I thought 'meh' but it has really good write ups. For $200 it looks like a pretty good deal.

As far as lenses go, I have two in mind right now that I am considering for my next. Either:

1) Nikon 85mm f/1.4, or
2) Nikon 105mm f/2.8

I'm gonna use it mainly as a macro and portrait lens; probably more macro though. I'm afraid the 20mm difference may mean alot for macro...I was leaning towards the 105, but the f/1.4 is

Advice???

And I'm considering these because I think I am gonna want to stick to mainly primes. Not set on it, but highly considering it. Maybe just have one really good zoom, and the rest primes once I get my collection going.

To add.

An 8GB CF card.

I was surprised when only ~300 shots could be held on the 8 gig with 14bit RAW files.

on my 10mp 40D with a 4GB CF card i can hold about ~300 shots in 14bit raw.

an extra .2mp shouldn't make the files that much larger.

unless you are doing 14bit raw + large uncompressed jpeg, but even then.....

312 to be exact

I'm guessing SanDisk used alot of room for the formatting of the card?

Either way it's fine.

Not only was it on sale, but it was one of the new 30mb/s cards. Not that I have any room to compare it to anything else, but I was happy that I knew I was getting a good deal on a good product.

Btw....the D300 is 2.2mp more, not just .2. Typo???

EDIT: No I'm am only shooting 14bit RAW...no jpeg's with it.

True....

Erm.

Tomorrow after my final, I'll format my card, and stick in the computer and find out what the true memory space is.

Just picked up a Velbon El Carmagne 530 Carbon Fiber tripod from Best Buy for $200.

I like it. Partly because it can reach up fairly tall so I can stand up straight.

Carbon fiber tripod for $200?? That's pretty good in my book. It's a nice sturdy tripod too. Not some things thrown together with the CF label on it.
3.9lbs FTW!!!!

The only thing that kind of 'eh' is that it doesn't have a quick release head. I will say though, that its not nearly as much of a PITA compared to some. It's hard to explain, but it really isn't that bad. We'll see.

I like it alot though.

nice printer, i got a Canon MP470 back in march, not quite a printer like that, but much better than the 10 year old BJC-3000 i was using.

you know you have a piece of ancient technology when it says this under the OS Compatibility
Windows 95/98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 and Mac OS (8.1 or later)

Give it a few hours more, or just post a for sale here (after getting permission - it has been allowed in the past, since it's camera gear).

I sold mine on POTN after trying here first and it sold rather quickly.

Does the BG-E2N even fit the 400D? Did you accidentally add a ")" in there?

Regardless, nice glass. Welcome. Now post pics.
