Great shots, Bruce. I love shooting baseball myself, and the one your son came out great. I have to say, though, the pitchers mound looks like a pile of sand. You can barely see his front foot. Great macros too.

Thanks and yeah he complained a lot about that mound. They ended up loosing 4-6, not too bad considering the team they played was ranked 6th in State at the time.

Snoqualmie Falls in Washington. The power plant at the top of the falls (right in the center of the image) is 108 years old and uses river water falling 270 feet to generate the power.

I must be going blind... are you looking at it with a magnifying glass? I know its not the cleanest image but I don't see "a lot of noise". She was doing a slow handstand walk-over.

I miss my 03 CL-S :(
I swear I'm not going blind... In the hair and the hair's shadows - there's lots of red/green pixels. Same thing in the pants. I looked in both my XP machine and my MBA. It could be jpeg artifacts though.

what resolution are you at? 320x200? hehehe. all assness aside, I guess there are some disadvantages to running 1920x1200 on a 17" screen.. I can see what you're talking about, but only when I zoom in.

I'll have to check that valley of the temple out, I'm just over in Kailua now.
I've also been to that temple in Japan. probably like almost 10 years ago now. I'm pretty sure all my pictures of it were on film, and are in some album stashed away.
