30dIR, channel mixed red and blue, set level, a little contrast and adjusted the hue. Then B&W'd it. I cropped it funny, because just below the bottow crop are a bunch of house top and theirs chimneys.

edit, right after the shot, this huge effing spaceship came out. My batteries died, no shots.

Is your 30D converted to IR only or can you switch back and forth when you want?

+1 on loving the look of the IR/B+W shots you posted.

Thanks

Nope 30D is IR all the way.

Now that you said that I have a IR blocking filter, how it would work now that the 30D is IR only. Thanks for asking that ??, I had totaled forgot about that damn filter.

Except for the sky, that is a great photo. I really like the blue rope and the shadow on the fender

This shot reminds me of a historic hotel I sold in south Georgia late last year. Very nice photo.

Funny enough...I had thought of this as well and tried it with one of my glow pictures last weekend. Sadly, I didn't really gain anything from it. Just became a messier image.

I've done that as well with other images and got nothing. The image has to have something in it first to allow the "fake" over and unders.
