Just carry on in this thread - if the mods want to merge it they will.

My shot was done with a DSLR, but I don't think that should be a major factor.
You just need a burst mode that has exposure bracketing. My olympus 2020 P&S from 10 years ago had that. The more FPS your camera can shoot, then the less camera shake there will be between shots. YMMV but at 7 fps handheld 'one burst HDRs'
were quite usable.
Also a side comment, You can do HDR with any number of pics.
Though going from 1 RAW -> 1 jpeg gains little over regular PP, and a large number of pics will be a processing grind, I think.
I'll try some fivers shortly (+2, +1, 0, -1, -2), and see how it goes.
