and it seems to be pretty buggy.

I've been using it a grand total of half an hour and I've already hit two annoying issues:

1) It ate my mouse cursor somehow - couldn't see it till I closed lightroom.
2) Normally in 'development' mode, you can use the left/right cursors to switch between pictures. That stopped working - the thumbnail in the top left was showing the right picture, but the main screen wasn't.

Are you sure your mouse wasnt highlighting another picture? It always did that where I was looking at one picture but I moused over another picture and that picture would show up in the small box. Or if I had my mouse in the preview area and using the arrow keys to move I would see one big picture but another small picture because he mouse was elsewhere.

Reminder: as with the previous Lightroom updates, you pretty much need to go update Adobe Camera Raw as well if you also have Photoshop CS3 installed on the same machine as Lightroom.

 

Did the cursor thing occur still after restarting it?

 

Yeah, it happened again, shortly after.
I ended up uninstalling it.

I updated to 1.3 on my windows machine, used it for a while, no problems.
