Since that's an MS, is that through the college of engineering? What about a MBA?

It is through CoE.. what attracted me to it is the programs flexibility with full time working students, the downside is it's expensive. UT has a great MBA program so my chances of getting in are probably slim since they have many experienced execs in their program.

yes, true about mccombs, but they also love to diversify the incoming class with people having all sorts of backgrounds. you could even consider the executive program

Nice! $590 is an awesome price, I bought mine for around $900 new. I have the Hoya Pro1 CPL on it too. Very versatile lens. Great build quality too, on par with L-glass.

The 10-22 is a lot of fun.
To avoid distortion, try to keep the camera level.

Also watch out for people on the edges of the frame - distortion is pretty tolerable on this lens, but distorted people tend to look fat, odd, or both.

Has the cost of that lens really gone up so much? Wow!! (Thanks, Jup.)

Enjoy the lens! Percentage-wise, I don't use it all that much, but when I do it's irreplaceable. I love it!!
