July 4th Picnic -

7d + 200 - I was kind of iffy about this lens in the beginning but after shooting with it at this picnic yesterday, I'm sold. I really like it. One of the most enjoyable aspects is the candid factor -

no flash on this - I have the "Auto Lighting Optimizer" set to strong, I'm guessing that's what is balancing out the light like that, but I don't know for sure.

Is it me or do the shots of the 200mm look a little too soft? Is it the BW processing you did?

they are not all spot on - like #5 especially but I dont think it's a dealbreaker for a shot like that.

It's not the processing. It's from shake or af.

I set a higher iso later, that helped.

I dunno 70-200 (2.8 or 4.0) seems pretty sharp to me -
