Camera Bag Recommendations...?
Camera Bag Recommendations...?
I recently scored a A550 from Sony (points FTW)...And I guess, accessorizing begins.
Anyone have a suggestion for a camera bag...? You have so many different types...from backpack types to the lunchbag-looking types. So, would really like some recommendations (I'd rather not break the bank on a camera bag)!
Thanks in advance...

A Crumpler Five Million Dollar Home should be good for your camera. http://www.amazon.com/Crumpler-Milli...9079418&sr=8-1
The basic bag I use for quick shots and vacation is this one:

I love this bag, carries my whole kit if I need (D90, 18-55,18-70,55-200,50mm and all the little extras)

+1 on the Crumpler. I have it for my Nikon D90. Best thing is that it doesn't look like a camera bag, so it doesn't scream "steal me" when I'm walking around in the city.

Actually just unbuckle and peel it open - the zippers unzip really smoothly in one motion without you actually having to pull on the zippers.
jupiter I tend to use it with one cross strap on so I can swing it to my front and access the camera from the the pouch on the side. like Jlatimer says, just unbuckle and peel.
I use only the side pouch for access into the main body of the bag, and have never used the big pflap on the back. after getting the camera, close the pouch and swing the bag back onto my back where it site comfortably and stably.

Love the avy, Mazinger Z. I grew up on that stuff.
One last question: You have the "backpack" types (the ones that sling over the shoulder) and the more square-like (lunchbox) types...
We are leaning towards Lowepro's smallest backpack type; but is there a difference and advantage to having the other style...?

However, as will be taking it with us when we head off to Japan/Taiwan in a couple of weeks...I'm thinking a backpack type would still be better since I can cram other stuff in the other compartments...?
