yeah, I just don't see myself doing it. I'd rather pay to have it done by people who know what they are doing. btw I have never been much of a DIY kind of guy. That should help explain where I'm coming from. It's a combination of laziness and a general desire to not break things (I've broken enough things in the past).

lol getting it cleaned tomorrow.
That looks like how my 1D looked like, until I got one of those rocket blowers. Removed about 75% of the junk on my sensor.

Gotta love the pre-anti dust cameras. Never had an issue with my XTi and 40D.

oh good, I don't feel as bad, I thought that was like, REALLY BAD. also you know FF attracts more dust just because there's more area

You know with digital, are those filters necessary?

Cause I've taken some great waterfall shots with ISO 50 on my 1D...

Just saying, camera companies could create lowed ISOs

And yes I know there is less dynamic range at ISO 50....

depends on light really. in bright light even ISO 50 will not save you. if you want long exposures that is.

on what camera? most modern cameras go down to ISO 100. Nikon used to be 200 until recently. Also, generally speaking a camera's optimal ISO range is 100-200.

there's never going to be ISO 25 (or lower), that's why I didn't see it nor comprehend your suggestion thereof. In our lifetimes, at least.

It is seriously easy... Just don't reuse old swabs and store them in a safe clean place.

Besides if you mess up you only wreck the IR filter. Then you can just get the IR filter removed and you have an IR camera.

Nyack, nyack, nyack...

I've been around, just not really around here. Probably will not be around for too long either. Life's been busy - mostly in a good way - especially with the baby.

Nope, I got my hand up between my eyes.

Damn... 10 stops is pretty hard core.

Nice. I need to use my 3 stop more often. Just need to detach it from the CPL its stuck to.

Digital only gets you so much. Plus, the ND filters can be used with strobes for portraits to get shallow DOF.

always the way isnt it? This past spring I had an instance where I could have used one, so I just put it in the back of my mind. Finally pulled it to the front a few weeks ago. I went with Hoya because Ive never had an issue with my Pro 1 digital CPL, and they are considerably cheaper than a B&W

Stolen at CES?
The Sigma 180 f/2.8 OS Macro lens that was showcased at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada has gone missing.

The lens was one of 2 pre-production models believed to be in existence. If you took it, give it back. For the record, I touched it, but I left it at the Sigma booth.

Opps.

They should use the 200-500 lens to look for it!

yeah, I think I'd have to consider something like that for the future. I only used like 8 batteries lol. maybe 12. The 580 continued to give me the firing trouble, even with the brand new rechargeables.

I'll pm you.
