20% bing cash back through Dell

FYI

Bing has 20% cash back at Dell right now through Dec. 2nd.

I just ordered a 5DII kit and 70-200 f4L IS though them. My Dad gave me his credit card to order him a good camera and lens. This goes without saying that I'll be using it.

How does Dell's pre-20% off price compare to other sellers?

Looks similar to B&H but Dell charges taxes and shipping. I'm guessing bing's cashback is pre-tax and shipping. If it is, that's still $943 savings on those two items!!!

Make sure you read the fine print. There are usually limits on how much Bing Cashback you can get on each purchase.

Only limits I've seen is the $2500 cashback in a calendar year. Even if he gets 0 cashback, he's been looking at that camera/lens for a while and was going to buy it anyway.

I must be the only person who can't seem to find a list of ALL the items Dell is selling that qualify for 20% off through Bing...

the link took me to a Bing page that has Fatwallet and other deal sites 'talking" about Dell deals...

the cashback window says it is for shopping in the home and home office section. The camera equipment falls under home and home office when a search is performed.

Also, Dell does not show bing savings like other sites do. You have to rely on bing sending you the cashback notice to your email whenever they decide to do it.

Just go to bing.com, type in "dell", hit enter, and the cashback should be the first link at the top.

I must have had a stroke. I cannot find the Dell Cash back stuff except laptops.

Can anyone tell me if Dell sells the Canon 17-55IS lens, and if so, how much with Bing?

Dell does sell it for 1059.99, but I don't know for sure about the cashback (I didn't see any CB logo). If it does, then it would be 1060 - 20% (212) = 848 + tax. That's a pretty good deal - about what I paid a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately, the only item I'm interested in is the 430EX II and the price on Dell's site is crap to begin with. Dell want's $299 and shows no mention of the current Canon instant savings. B&H wants $250 ($280 - Canon's $30 instant savings) and I wouldn't have to pay shipping or tax. I guess they can't all be winners.

when you go through the link from bing, this banner will be visible on dell.com...

When you click on it to learn more, or see what the selected items are, this comes up http://www.dell.com/content/topics/r...=gen&~lt=popup

There is no list of items that are bing specials, it just specifies bing cashback in "home and home office" purchases. The laptops you see are the weekly deals.

That's what I thought. I did find the $2500/year limit in the terms and conditions, but can't seem to find where they limit it to $200/purchase.

^^Last year, I bought a $1K Core i7 processor during Ebay's 35% and all I got back was $200 from it.

So the $200 limit is only on Ebay purchases?

I don't think they have the $200 limit in place for this. There's at least one person over at POTM that got a notification of cashback for upwards of $600 using this.
