Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a camera to take nice shots of my car, I know very little about the dynamics of photography (adjusting the aperture, shutter speed, etc.). I am looking for a camera that I can use out of the box and take pretty HQ shots.

The stipulation is that I am running a tight budget $150.

What kind of camera/specs should I be looking for. I want to purchase something now while it's much more affordable during these holiday deals.

Hey Jupe - what is it about the 780 that you like so much? Why that one over the million other p&s from Canon?

 

It this case it's $200, close to his price range.

 

Do you think the Canon with more MP is going to be better?

 

Don't make your decision base on MP, in a lot of cases more doesn't mean better. I would read the reviews on the two that I posted, use them to base your decision. If you feel that you want to stick to your budget. Use amazon.com to filter down to what you want, using the reviews to make your decision.
