VERY handsome looking dog!
I think for some shots (like this one) having a really shallow DOF is more of a distraction than an enhancement though. I am assuming this was shot at f1.4 or f1.8?
So much of the actual real estate of the photo is OOF, I have a hard time seeing the picture for what it is, a really good looking dog! Instead, I am visually hunting for the in-focus area so my eyes can settle there.
