Love the pic of the kids and dog srika. Really captures the feeling of how a dog is just another family member.

So I finally got around shooting my new d700.

I love the element of the 135 2.0 dc.

I actually wanted the shot to come out a bit different brent and I tried shooting it on a glass table but it was pretty scratched up. Either way it was fun to play around a few lighting setups.

Alienbee 1600 stripbox
both boomed over head angled away from the rear.
sb-28 snooted in front of lens element

sb900 from below

sync w pocket wizards.

That's well done for a first attempt! A tablet makes it much easier in my opinion, but I feel everything is easier with a tablet in post.

Drigo: I like the heron shot. I love that green algae giving that swampy feel to it. We have a lot of it around here in the nature perserves, and I really like the effect it gives.

thanks, my g/f actually gave me her old tablet (she's a web designer), but when I plug it in, it didn't work
