there's a blue R32 that parks in the same garage where I work. Nice looking cars.

the HPA package is nice but it's $25,000 above the cost of an R32

But not really all that quick. It was originally positioned as a WRX killer but it didn't quite make it.

i thnk it's pretty nice tho, for around 26k, it's a lil slower than an sti or evo, but considering the sti is close to 31-32k USD, if you spent the extra 4-5K on the r32, it'll be close....

oh well.

The VW interior quality would be nicer then the others, but I think I wouldn't want any of these cars as a daily driver.

It's fast but still a Golf. Worse, an old model Golf... Way too many Golf's on the roads here in Holland...

I guess the problem with that is it isn't competing against the STi or EVO. The regular WRX is faster and $2500 less. The VW does have a nicer interior than all of the above though. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I bet the VW is also more reliable.

i thought the R32s are 29.5k? I guess if you can negotiate down to 26k then it's not bad

HPA does nice work. They're a local shop around here and I've heard that they go above and beyond what's required to do a job well.
