Pinstripes Anyone?
That's why I specifically told my dealer when I placed my deposit that I did not want anything added to the car (door trims, splash guards,...). It turned out that mine was the only one that escaped their greedy hands. I found out afterwards that they were planning to charge $900+ for their protection package. What a bunch of crock!

On spud's thread about his car getting keyed, I joked that I'd repaint my car "pinstripes," but I didn't know "pinstripes" had anything to do with cars.

Why does this car need pinstriping? It would add too many lines. Eww. Might as well add the side molding, with a pinstripe right above it, then the character line of the car.

I guess it's not out of the question, then. I've seen pinstripes on previous gen. TL's.

When I started reading this thread, I had no idea which car it was about (I've learned not to assume on here), so then I checked what forum it was.
When I start a thread, or anytime I think it wouldn't be clear which car I'm talking about, I try to make a point of saying in the post itself whether it's about the TSX or the TL. It seems a lot of other people do that too. When someone doesn't -- especially if it's about a car other than the TSX, even the TL -- it's confusing.
