I doubt it. Fitting a larger motor under the hood is one thing but where will they fit all the extra electric motors & batteries?

maybe my expectations were too high

Just the way it was caught in that pic - standing still it's much lower.

The mule making the car show rounds looks good on 18"s but if the base car comes with 16s or even 17s it might look a bit weird (big wheel gap).

Rumors call for the IS350 doing the 60 in 5.0 with the auto tranny in Japan. There, it is rated at 320PS which is about 310HP SAE NET which is what the IS350 has been rated for the Canadian market.

Too bad they didn't catch any profile or front shots, think this will be one of the best looking Lexus cars yet. Wish they could have put more of the sharpness they have with this car into the GS.

I have to see the trunk opening - I hope they didn't screw it up like the GS.

All of these shot are of test mules. Althouhg getting a bit late, changes to real production units might still happen.

This is probably my next car. I'll wait a couple of years to see if it'll be released in coupe form. If there is a coupe, I buy it new. If not, I'll get a sedan w/ <10k miles on it.

The IS350, of course. My mom's getting her new GS this week so that may mean two Lexus cars in our garage... goes to show how good of a job they're doing!

It looks decent, though it seems kind of tall and narrow from the way the tail looks. I expected more of a wide look to it...

Looks good. It'll be better looking if it had a wider stance.

There will be a coupe a year after the sedan is introed. So a year from now.

If I didn't just buy a TL 7 months ago, I would be going down to the Lexus dealership to put my name on the wait list.

Beautiful car. I think this will be THE car to own for the next few years, at least until the next G35 is released.

well if bmw builds the rumored turboed 3 series which falls between the 330 and the m3 i think it will take out the IS...well at least perfomance wise...

with the new IS350 i doubt it will be cheaper than a fully loaded G35 coupe

i expect they will selling a lot of these and probably on waiting list, so little discount will be given
