This is going to sound terrible, but while walking the dogs tonight I saw my neighbor's S4 and thought to myself damn that's a nice car. Then I saw a new Optima about four blocks away and couldn't take my eyes off it.

Strange how a FWD Korean evoked such a reaction.

I love how SSFTSX spews misinformation about Hyundai, Kia and any of Honda's competitors. It usually does the opposite and only garners interest in and support for said brands.
Definitely not new around here. I know you are the guy with the Santa Fe and you post the Monthly Hyundai sales numbers.

SSFTSX doesn't really gather much (if any) support, at least not in this section of the forum. The only attention he seems to get is from a) People who are just here to waste time and increase their post count or b) People who cant tolerate anything negative about the brand of car they own.

b) Need to realize he is fudging the facts by presenting quotes from specific reviews.

One of my neighbors has an E-Class and the other a 5 series (Both almost Brand New). Never once have I glanced in my rear view mirror to take a look at their cars while driving away.

Somebody who lives down the street from me Just bought a Pearl White Optima with the Panoramic Sunroof. I actually pulled over to the side of the road while driving by and couldn't believe that 1) Its a Kia and 2) Its supposed to be just a FWD family sedan

It was the first and only Ive seen so far but it definitely makes you think

That's not Costco, but I could careless about post count. SSFTSX aka Asimo just gets under my skin so I act out.

Sure I stoop down to his stupidity temporarily, but I have fun doing it.

Exactly. It's a striking car to say the least.

They did a fantastic job in the exterior design. I feel it may age better then the Sonata...

Did I get one of them mixed up? I lost track of each persons storyline. I know theres about 12-15 people who post in this section regularly and the Hyundai guy is one of them. I stopped coming on here as often since it turned into a Cluster/SSFTSX Fuck.

Not sure. The pic just came up when I google imaged "Canucks Logo" during the playoffs.

She definitely belongs in the JB/PG thread

Lots of Optima news here.
The PWin incited by a certain poster never fails to materialize. A solution has been posted many times before.

Biker, who is only adding to the problem.

I stared at a New Optima rental at work the other day. I especially stared a the mess around the rear window. It doesn't look integrated or finished.

It's like a jigsaw puzzle collection of panels, filler pieces, chrome strips stopping abruptly. It's a mess.

I agree completely. Now I know why the dealer wouldn't let me look at the back of the car. Had I (and the other 50,000 people per month)seen the jigsaw puzzle, I would definately not have bought!

Don't they have different tailiights for different trims? I swear that's not the Optimas that I see around my area.

And a car can look very awkwardly in some odd angles.

never thought I'd say this about a KIA of all brands, but that doesn't look that bad actually.

...I still wouldn't buy one though

Oh lord, when the roof is painted black, it is even more chopped up looking and disjointed. Adding the smallish trunk lip is the cherry on top. Reminds me of a Pontiac back in the 1990s.

A Pontiac back in the 1990s?? You are a joke man. I know it's a subjective matter, but you are pushing it wayyyy too far.

But seriously, though....if these Honda fanboys think Kia and Hyundai make such shitty cars and Honda makes such great ones, why do they find the Koreans so threatening? Seems to me that if your product is so superior, there shouldn't be a shred of doubt. I sense some insecurity lying just under the surface.

I agree with Portland. Especially when they start throwing out quotes about lame things like jigsaw puzzles and oil changes. When they resort to that, it's obvious they are desperate and have nothing else.

Shitty cars for long term for sure. .
It is very basic video from Indian of new Hyundi and Honda comparision but the reviewer missed the longterm part.
compared the 0-140km race. Honda is 3 second faster despite having smaller engine. this is called aerodynamic efficiency of highest order.

Your average Indian driver does not give a shit about 0-140km races. There's hardly any room on their roads.

That would be me. If you have a problem, say it to my face like a man.

Oh, and before you get up on your high horse and start calling me a fanboy, try to squeeze it into your brain that I'm not. Every car company makes a bad car every now and again and guess what...my Santa Fe is one of them. Yeah...I said it and I'll say it again. From day one it was nothing but trouble. Do I believe they're a bad company? No. Because the one I had before was flawless over 150,000 miles and I have several friends who also own them. Good cars come through and bad cars come through...these are facts. If you believe that Honda has never made a defective car and will always be superior to the competition regardless of brand, then I'll put you on my ignore list along with Captain Asimo. But don't try to file me in along with your blind, Pied Piper fanboy club. I don't hold that membership card for any manufacturer. I never have and never will. I have far better things to do with my time than fawn over the achievements of a car company.

So please....tell me and the other fine folks here something that we don't already know.
