I must say that I too, am impressed with this entry. It is not as visually polarizing as the RDX (IMHO), nor does it scream cheap like the X3. It is an exciting time to be an automotive enthusiast with so many new products coming out. Here is yet another vehicle that I cannot wait to see in the "flesh"

This looks great! But I wonder what the production vehicle will actually look like? As for the pricing, starting in the mid 30's is good, but I hope they have a fully optioned trim level that brings the price higher to prevent Infiniti from looking like a discount luxury mark like Acura is presently.

Diggin' the RDX!
Bah, I don't think it's better looking than the RDX. Look at those Subaru Tribeca tail lights. Ick. And the sides make me think of a Hyundai. Not a bad effort, but the RDX is every bit as good if not better looking.
Call me biased as an RDX owner!

Whats the difference between DE and HR? I presume the 306 HP version in the new G Sedan is the HR.

HR is the "high revving" version in the G.
DE is the...uh..."Decreased Energy" version.

I suspect the EX will have the HR, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the DE in it either.

It does not take much to look better than the RDX.

Yes, I agree that this one is HOT!!! Infiniti has a winner on their hand! So much better looking than the X3 and even the RDX (sorry, my fellow RDX owners!). Maybe after all, I will trade in my TSX for this...........

1. I don't know about the sex appeal apart. yeah a car can be nicely designed, but it's weird to compare it to a woman.
2. The Infiniti concept looks really nice - much better than FX's design, which is overly aggressive and looks like high on steroids. However, the front is more or less borrowed from G35, so it's nothing new with this design exercise.
3. My question is: what will differentiate the new model from FX35? Seems to me that they'd overlap somewhat. If you have this, why bother with the FX35? Anyway, according to Edmunds, FX35 AWD sells below invoice at $36,765 in my area (without other packages), RDX with tech package sells at $35,005 (about $900 above invoice).

you can package out an BMW 3-series that costs about the same as a lower-end 5-series, but size is the most obvious difference. You can package out a IS350 that costs about the same as a lower-end GS, and again, and again size is the most obvious difference. Same with the M35 and G35.
Acura is in a totally different boat since they don't have the price overlap since they only offer limited trim lines, but their size differences are much less obvious.

That camera lens coming out under the Infiniti logo seems like a Bondesque to me, which is sweet
I wonder what will happen to the sales of the RDX when this Infiniti Ex hits the street. If Acura is already having a hard time selling the RDX with just the X3 and Cx7 as competition, what more when the Ex comes out??
