How to open the trunk for dummies

Now am I just a complete idiot (probably) or is there no handle/ button to open the trunk. I only saw the car for a few min at the dealer, but I didn't see it. I am talking about when standing at the rear of the car. Typically trunks work w/ the door locks adn when the doors are unlocked you can pull and handle or push a button on teh trunk to pop it. I saw nothing. Does this mean you can only use the fob or the button by your feet in the car. Again, I prob just an idiot. Thanks

I read somewhere that for security reasons, the trunk release was in the glove box so that it can be locked.

FWIW, that's where it is on my mom's 1999 Toyota Avalon. I never thought about the reasoning behind it's location, though. Other cars have the ability to lock out trunk access with the master key.

I assume it is the same as in my CL-S. There is a switch in the glove box that disables the trunk release switch next to the driver. The glove box can be locked, as well door for the pass-through to the trunk. The valet key will not unlock those two locks.

did you guys ever answer his question???

Yes there is a button you press to get into the trunk. Its a little rectangular shaped button located right above the licence plate. The only way this works if the doors are unlock. You can't access the trunk directly with a key or anything like some cars. Just unlock the door. Sorry for the poor explanation regarding where taht button is. May someone can clear up my explanation
