Ewww, the front of that sedan looks like a Malibu or crap. And the tailights of the sedan look like the Seahawks, or Eagles, or some damn sports bird.

WOW thats all i can say... honda finally stepped up with this civic...
i didnt like the last gen civic.. but this generation is really really nice...
but as every civic generation is... give or take 1 year or so it'll get played out... we'll just sit back and wait for the invasion of the civic nation virus... watch it take over the import scene

Nice work Honda! Doesnt look to have that "cheap" look that civics had. Upscale looking is a good thing!

Tempted to go to this preview party on Monday in NJ just to get a 4 week heads up on what going on with this car. Embargo ends mid September with the official pics of the car.

Can't wait to see them at dealerships, I think this new Civic will do wonders for Honda sales.

According to some rumours on TOV, they are saying 20k US for the Si without Nav.

The seats are like smaller versions of the Accord coupe's. Almost EXACTLY. And another thing I noticed...the redline is at 8000 RPM!!!

Meh...

Looks nicer then the current Civic, but the interior is trying way too hard to look futuristic it looks cartoonish, and the steering wheel is one of the ugliest I've seen. The Civic SI coupe though looks kinda nice on the outside.

Not really sure until I see the price to features ratio vs what a Tc has, the styling/ power rating of the standard model hasn't really won me over alone, but it is better than what they've put out for a civic in a long time..

8000 RPM's isnt surprising since it resuses the K series from the RSX-S.

What happened to the spaceship interior of the Euro civic?

I have said it before and I will say it again, anything Honda offers now should be better than the current gen Civic.

Whoa, it's profile, greenhouse, c-pillar, and Italian-like styling is ALOT like the TL. That's a good thing. These are the first pics of the side view I've seen... very nice. I like it more now. I can live with the front with the side and rear looking that good.

LOL@ the rims on the one that's parked next to the current Civic. I think it's nice that the mirrors can fold inward.

Civic: The redesigned 2006 Civic goes on sale this fall. The base model will be equipped with Honda's new 140-hp, 1.8-liter, four-cylinder engine. Variations of the engine can make up to 170 hp. A hybrid powertrain also will be available.

The performance oriented Civic Si model will have a 200-hp, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission. Sources say the suspension will be MacPherson struts up front and a revised version of the current rear suspension. The Si also will be fitted with performance summer tires and 17-inch wheels.
Wonder what they mean by this. The power ratings are easy to believe due to the integra, but Honda seems to be hiding it well if they plan on powering the EX with 170hp( the power it needs to be competitive imo ).
