Despite the engine's tendency to hold onto revs when you close the throttle (a slight annoyance tuned into the electronic throttle), there isn't a better normally aspirated four-banger in the world.
Better than the K24?

Has Honda started using direct injection on any US models yet? I remember seeing a vid about how they modified the spraying angle of the gas to be more resourceful and I believe it was a 2.0L engine.

I dont believe there is any significant difference, it's mainly aesthetic.

Huge WTF? If I'm driving FWD, my instinct would say to let off the throttle so the car will stop understeering. I understand that this LSD will send more power to the outside wheel, but... I don't see that one tire producing oversteer when 60% of the car (namely, the front end) wants to understeer.
Is that how the Prelude Type-SH worked? Did it have a LSD?

The Prelude Type-SH has ATTS (Automatic/Active Torque Transfer System). I recall that SH-AWD is like a more advanced 4-wheel version of ATTS. I dont recall people really raving about it though, they just say its prone to failure on the track. It was heavy too.

That car looks cool. Kinda like a tsx front end on an rsx body.

And the price is right. Not only is it a whole lot less than a membership to the Autobahn Country Club, it will be between $3,500 and $5,000 less than an RSX Type-S.

Save the cash. When the Si hits this fall, the only folks still buying the Acura will be the badge-conscious and lovers of leather seats. Their issues, their loss.

i was at the cabazon outlets, so. cali. yesterday and while looking for parking i came accross this...

i thought it was a scion tc at first but the wing made it seem otherwise. after i found a spot, went towards it and first thing i noticed was the SI

i like very much. the front wipers are different. left, wipes left and right, wipes right. looked like it had XM since it has the same antenna on its roof like my TL. the interior looks good too. there's a screen the size of the prius. not sure if it had navi. the e-brake looked weird though how its position next to the shifter right underneath the console.

didn't even know these came out already. was gonna take more pics but i had to rush to the timberland sale hoping it was there when i got back to take more pics but alas, it wasn't

lic. frame said JDM Secret or something. nice car though. if i had extra loot i'd pick one up as a daily driver

I think the R-series engines (in the other trim levels of Civic) will be using it, but I'm not 100% sure.

The R- series is not direct injection. If it was, it would have i-vtec I as opposed to just i-vtec.

No pricing on the SI yet I take it...

The pricing looks VERY GOOD. Right along the lines of a similiary equipped Mazda3. I don't understand why the jump to Nav is more expensive in the coupe than in the sedan...

No, Si and Hybrid pricing not announced yet.

I find that very strange as well. I can't explain it other than Honda making an extra $250 profit on Coupe's with Navi.

The Coupe has more features built in, such as a customizeable greeting and a better stereo.

I wish my car had a customizeable greeting. i'd program it to say "you shoulda stayed at home today you stupid $*#*, now we gotta sit in traffic again for the next hour and a half. Thanks for nothing."

The coupe with Navi also comes standard with XM while in the sedan its a dealer installed option. Should explain the price difference.

Seems a little pricey just at a glance, maybe if the DX had 140hp and the others had 166hp I could see it.

i'm sorry but i don't like this at all. The coupe is ok but the sedan is horrible, it looks like and ion and the steering wheel what the fuck are they thinking the shifter looks extremely cheap. The gauge, although it looks much better than the Coopers, still looks like poop. The back, well is all i can say.

I agree, after seeing these prices I expect above 20k rather than 19,999. Maybe 21k w/out nav.

It depends on your preferences. If you're like most people, you'd pick the Accord for its size and power over a comparably priced Civic. But I would take an EX Civic over an LX Accord just for the moonroof and the better gas mileage.

I find the mpg ratings questionable considering that the weights vary from model to model yet the mpg ratings do not.

2nd, yes I'd go lx v6 coupe over ex civic coupe.

Most likely not... unless they use a jumper harness and run a '02-'04 DC5 ECU but who knows if that'll even work. You'd have to lose the DBW unless Hondata was only a flash like the TSX. Doubtful K=Pro could be used without fairly major modifications but who knows. The guys at Hondata know their shit.
