I have one criticism. I feel they could have executed the side-view mirrors better. It feels like they interfere with the design flow. With all the great advances with video cameras today in terms of size and quality, it would have been nice if they incorporated something along those lines to handle this, and done away with the mirrors, or additionally also had smaller less jarring mirrors in place.

Also, my kids will break them off the model car the first day I bring it home.
The Huayra has the same problem, the mirrors distract me from the rest of the car.

Interesting.

A camouflaged LaFerrari prototype was seen at the Fiorano track providing an engine soundtrack which doesn't seem to come from a V12.
An interesting video emerged on YouTube a couple of days ago showing a LaFerrari wearing camo while doing some laps around Fiorano. Nothing out of the ordinary so far until you hear the sound of the engine which most likely isn't from the supercar's V12. It's clearly not a naturally aspirated engine as in Ferrari's new flagship model and chances are we are dealing with a turbocharged engine, possibly the V6 1.6-liter which will power Ferrari's 2014 Formula 1 car.
If you will pause at the 0:15 mark you will notice the car has a roof scoop which isn't fitted on the production LaFerrari so this is a test mule. It should be noted that before 2.4-liter V8 engines were introduced in Formula 1 in 2006, Ferrari allegedly used the Enzo to test their F1 engine so they could be doing this again with a V6 turbo-powered LaFerrari.
