The 2010 Dodge Charger SRT8® packs all of the features and amenities expected of an excellent family sedan combined with benchmark performance delivered by Chrysler Street and Racing Technology (SRT) vehicles.

A couple subtle changes, looks like it gets the challenger srt wheels. Sucks I REALLY like the current charger srt wheels.
Cant wait for the 2011s, from what Ive seen the new body style will be awesome.

2011 Dodge Charger: Car Information, Rumors, and Spy Shots
The 2011 Dodge Charger four door sedan will be made in Brampton alongside the 300C, Alfa Romeo 169, the Challenger, and a Lancia 4-door sedan which is likely to be identical to the 300C except for badging and grille. Daimler has apparently been holding back needed components as a negotiating chip, and plans to change the automatic transmissions for the Charger may be voided to keep other parts — which we suspect will be “designed out” over time — flowing. It does appear that the Mercedes automatic will be upgraded to seven speeds — after the cars launch (maybe a year or two after).

Recent rumors claim that the floor pan of the Challenger is being altered, and that similarly drastic changes have been made to the Charger. However, rumors that the Charger would look more like the 1999 concept vehicle seem to stem mainly from a photo shown during Ralph Gilles speech, which showed the 1971 Charger, the 2006 Charger, and — the 1999 Charger concept.
The production launch is scheduled for late November 2010, the same time as the refreshed 2011 Challenger. The official unveiling will take place sometime in 2010. Pilots were built in late 2009 for the usual crash-testing, ride and handling tuning, HVAC tuning and testing, and testing of the new Pentastar V6. Pilot models with the new 6.4L engine are expected to be built during the 1st quarter of 2010.
The W5A580 5-speed automatic will, we believe, be the only transmission offered when the 2011 Charger is launched. Two rumors are currently floating — one that a ZF-designed, joint-venture-built eight-speed automatic will eventually join the fleet [we now believe this is only for SRT and trucks], and one that Chrysler is working on or licensing a seven-speed variant of the W5A580. The latter would presumably be less disruptive and require fewer tooling changes and less training of dealer mechanics, and would presumably share many parts and require less of the electronics people.
Spy shots imply that the grille has been restyled and enlarged, with the crossing of the crosshairs moved forward; while the greenhouse has been smoothed out (cutting drag?).
The crease from front to rear has been made more curvy, moving up at the front fenders, which seem to bulge out. In back, the tail lights appear to follow the Challenger's style more. The cars roaming the streets of Detroit are heavily camouflaged.
Sergio Marchionne indicated that Chrysler was seeking a vendor to replace the expensive Mercedes automatic transmissions currently used in the LX and rumored to be in the original 2011 plans. This appears to be a long term plan, though.
Aerodynamics. The Charger will be less boxy, to improve noise and gas mileage; Styling now reports to Engineering’s Frank Klegon, and aerodynamics has taken a more advanced position.
Fuel efficiency</B>. Expect modified axle ratios, made more practical by the greater power from the V6 and V8 alike. All-around performance is to go up; the revised V6 and the 6.4 Hemi will make this possible. (Possible weight reductions and/or aerodynamic changes could help 5.7 Hemi performance as well.)
Pentastar V6 engine (née Phoenix Engine). The 3.6 liter will pump out 290 hp with better mileage than the current 250 hp 3.5 liter — more quietly than the Toyota V6. The restructuring plan tells us it will reach at least 25 mpg highway. A turbocharged and twin-turbo V6 will be made, but might or might not be in the Charger. The 3.6 might gain Fiat’s MultiAir and is slated for direct injection, eventually (probably not at launch). With direct injection, we'd expect the 3.6 to exceed 300 horsepower.

This is the first shot inside the cabin of the 2011 Dodge Charger. As you can see, it's a definite step up from the current model although that's not saying much. Thankfully, Chrysler's designers didn't go too far overboard with the revamp as it all looks like pretty tasteful stuff.
This prototype was also missing the small piece of camouflage that concealed the C-pillar in previous photos. As you can see after the jump, this Charger will have a slightly different profile than the current model, more like the concept that appeared -- and then disappeared - so many years ago.
Production of this heavily revamped Dodge Charger is expected to start this fall, so expect an official debut in the coming months.

The interior is an improvement but still pretty lame, looks like standard Chrysler accountant bean counter interior design though now it's sourced by Magna of Canada. Looks more like a 90's design than 2011.

Thank you for your repetitive repetitive response. I didn't take it personally, the way it seems you took my original comment.
I did drive the current SRT8 Charger, and while it was fun to drive, I would never buy it. If I have to drive something everyday, it shouldn't feel like a rental. I don't blame Chrysler Corp. for putting cheap interiors in their vehicles. They have to keep cost down if they're going to compete with the other players in the price range.

Which really means absolutely NOTHING and you know that.
A Phantom's interior is really ugly to me but that doesn't mean it isn't a fantastic interior.
And so it is with those interiors, which are of great quality. In fact both are the best in their respective classes. A real interior enthusiasts knows looks can be deceiving both in a positive and negative way.

I'll have to reserve true judgment since I haven't seen the real thing in person yet (obviously) but it looks to be quite an improvement over the current Charger. What I'm concerned about is the massive gray bezel around the gauge cluster and vents/nav screen(?). Also, the chrome trim around the cupholders could probably be changed up so that it doesn't look as cheesy, though I don't think it should go away entirely since it would take away from the flow of the interior (there's still chrome trim around the gauges, HVAC knobs, vents, shifter gates, on the shifter collar and door handle itself, etc.)
But again, from the dash itself to the door panel, considering the door handle trim, window controls, steering wheel, HVAC controls.... they all, from what I can tell have aesthetic and ergonomic improvements.

ZF and Chrysler Group LLC Reach Agreement for New 8HP 8-Speed Automatic Transmissions
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- ZF and Chrysler Group LLC have reached a supply and license agreement for ZF's 8HP 8-speed automatic transmission. Chrysler Group is licensed to produce the 8HP at the company's Indiana Transmission Plant I and the Kokomo casting plant, starting in 2013.
Chrysler Group LLC will initially receive the 8HP 8-speed automatic transmissions from the ZF Getriebe GmbH plant in Saarbrucken, Germany. By 2013, in parallel with Chrysler Group, ZF is setting up a new transmission production plant in North America, where the 8-speed transmissions will be produced.
"As the U.S. auto industry continues its rebound, we see considerable growth opportunities within it -- especially for next-generation vehicles, such as those at Chrysler Group that will use the 8HP 8-speed automatic," says Hans-Georg Harter, ZF's President and CEO. "America is the birthplace of the automotive automatic transmission and we feel it is important for ZF to participate in the business here with a dedicated manufacturing facility. The word on the internet has been that this transmission will initially find its way in HD trucks and SRT Hemi Chryslers which are Chrysler's most expensive vehicles (and within the coming few years expect it to spread out).

I was about to say, I guess the HEMI engines will have enough low down torque to take advantage of having 8 gears, but is that really necessary? Then I read that it's rated for 750 lb/ft which would be good for the diesels.... 
It still seems like 7 would be most ideal though..... 5 gears for outright thrust and 2 overdrive gears. Then again I haven't driven an 8AT car yet so I wouldn't know if it hunts for gears too much or not in regular driving.
