The C7 is nowhere near ugly....and the Z06..ZR1...or whatever they want to call them variants will be beasts for sure. She'll be a sexy beast....something the GTR never was.

....the C7 make me want to rip my eyes out altogether. For the first time, I actually prefer the styling of the Viper over the Vette. ( from Sarlacc)

I dunno how you can say the C7 makes you want to rip your eyes out.

What can we say, you like ugly.

Someone has got to love the uglies.

...and yet you like the Viper?

The Viper looks great, as does the C7.

Pass the pipe!

Viper always has and still looks better than the Corvette, only with this latest generation has the Viper managed to win in the interior department.

GT-R still looks like a bloated Rolls Royce Phantom of a sports car.

Looks good in motion.

Although this is a GT5 clip, it looks pretty real!

if you watch this video from the Today show, and all you're thinking in your head is "it looks like a Camaro", I'm sorry, the problem is YOU, not the car.

Who said it "looks like a Camaro"? The rear taillights are the only "Camaro-like" feature anyone has pointed out, AFAIK.

Apologies. It wasn't anyone here. It is a general statement that is flowing at various other outlets, many just say "it looks like a Camaro" or "nice Camaro". Ingesting so many outlets at once, I mixed them up.

It does bear some resemblance...just like the headlight look viperish.

MANY people on MANY forums and other forms of social media have made the GTR reference.

So, what is Sarlacc and srika arguing about in here?

If you're just stirring the pot because you have an issue with R, Dave...please take it to Ramblings? I want to enjoy the Corvette.

I asked nicely and said please.

Sorry, but they are clowns to if ANYONE thinks this thing remotely looks like the ugly GTR.

Now their may be "elements" that look like the GTR....but in no way does this look anything like that ugly.

I bet if I look hard enough I can find things that look like an Altima, Toureg, Camry, in the C7 too.

...but that's where we start getting into the stupid like "door latches" and vents located above or below nav screens.

I'll leave that kind of nonsense to the resident village idiots.

What would you do if you were stuck in the Great Pit of Carkoon all day? Pot-stirring is all you have left when you run out of barbequed Hutt to eat.

The sharp angles on the car itself and the the vent design behind the front wheels take, bear, resemble, have elements, can be pointed at, viewed, whatever to drawing some kind of imagery that make people say GTR...

No one (I don't think but at least not me) is saying it looks exactly like a GTR. Just because you can't stand the GTR and love this new vette, doesn't mean visual comparisons can't be drawn.

Like I said, look hard enough and you will find all sorts of other car designs in the C7....you can do that for any car.

Whether I like the GTR or not has no bearing on the fact that the C7 looks NOTHING like the GTR.

This kind of talk sounds just like the village idiot talk...except he posts nonsense pics with his talk of how everything look exactly like something else.

Come on now, be serious.
