The leather wrapped armrests and door inserts are evidence of quality that I've never seen in any GM car; this interior murders the STS's. The stiching is clean, simple... this car continues to win me over.

the interior looks freakin awesome at least in teh pics - in terms of quality. The design of the interior isn't groundbreaking or jaw dropping, but the execution appears to be flawless. Excellent use of good materials and fine worksmanship. Great job GM

winner! I think the only thing keeping me from rating this tops in the segment is the G35, which even then makes it very close. AWESOME looking car!

This is an awesome re-design. I am very impressed with GM. She's a looker and with that 3.6L V6, she ought to be show and GO. I can't wat to see it in person, this is a definite step up from the previous Gen.

It looks really nice. I don't think they should offer all those engine options though. The 300hp V6 should be standard with the V8 available in the CTS-V. No need for a lower V6 IMO.

They need it to market a lower "starting at" MSRP. Besides, I can see them selling quite a few 258HP versions. Thats plenty of power for most.

That sounds like a good plan to me. Lexus does the same thing (offering a lower/higher output engine) with the IS250 and 350, Audi offers a 4 cylinder and a V6 in the A4, as well as Mercedes in the C class. BMW offers two v-6's as well in the 3 series. Why not do it?

But why are there no door pockets?

Has a fresh and unique look, the interior is more than inline with the current competition and the engine is slightly class leading.
The last CTS sold like hotcakes and while the new car is not a huge departure style wise. Overall it does look better and more substantial.

The 335i. Makes 350 at the crank. The IS350 did 4.9 seconds at the latest test. The G35 is in mid to low 5s. So this 300~HP engine better take this thing to 60 in the very, very low 5s or else it's not competitive IMO.

Now I am guessing that the CTSV will share a supercharged DOHC V8 with the STSV. The only difference will probably be a little detuning for the CTSV because it will be lighter.

Nice looking car, I give it that much. Im surprised nobody has commented on how the interior is a blatant ripoff of some other car... esp the center console with the vents off to the sides like that. Dont know which one of the top of my head but yeah. or has someone lol.
I see they decided on the 70's-80's GM interior fonts... again.

Wagoner is like, "what the hell is this long violin crappy show?, I am firing the mkt director tomorrow", lol.
FYI: The violin show ends at around 4:30 minutes (for those that want to skip).

What Would Don Draper Do?
wow...well done, cadillac!
the exterior is a further improvement on the previous generation, which i really liked.
and the interior is years ahead. i just want to see the finishing touches up close in person.
but yea...cadillac has a winner.
