Three Wheelin'
I'm looking forward to seeing the production version in person.

It's called "A week on the Ganges"but unfortunately it's not a commercial song per se. I use a program called Cinescore, to create the music. "Create" it probably giving myself too much credit. The program provides tracks that I can modify by adding more or removing instruments. I tell the program how long I want the music and it makes me a song of that length. Kinda like working with Sony Acid, but more restrictive.
#763
You won't be able to 'get' it without buying the program and music disc. See here: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/cinescore
I can make you one, how long do you want it?

What Would Don Draper Do?
I just read the car review on Acura.com and I am amazed, The headlights + tails look very futuristic and eye catching. The grile matches perfectly unlike the new TL *ugh* maybe they will change that soon, Loving the LED look and this baby is very hightech, freaking Venilated Seats, with Blind spot system? Thats crazy and the Multi-Camera, Talk about a movement for Acura, they are the future

^^ Seems like Honda / Acura have been in cruise control for many years now.

Even the color black can't help this mess.

I think the masking makes the overhang looks worse than it actually is. The front is very pointy. You can see the whole fog light inlet from the profile shot. I think the production without all the camouflage will look much better.
#783
dude it's going to be just like the new TL. the front overhang is already long since it's FWD, but the beak design adds to it. that's not the camo doing that.
#786
I'm the Firestarter
No. The camo simply shows the overhang for what it is, no visual tricks. Making the nose pointy will reduce the effect from certain angles but this picture shows the real deal. It's huge ugly front overhang, and one of the reasons why I'm going with Audi this time around.
#787
I don't think the ZDX looks bad. I would never be interested in a crossover or SUV, but there are far worse looking vehicles on the road. Every time spy shots of a new vehicle are posted on the internet, it seems like half the comments are something about how that vehicle is the ugliest thing ever created.

Go Big Blue!
^^ funny. That's true but I'll take it a step further and say most of the comments in general (on auto discussion boards) are about how ugly a new design or change is. It's unfortunate because it's the most subjective and least debatable aspect. Just a bunch of waisted time and noise.

And while subjective, most (not all) of the time the majority reach a consensus on styling. See TL.

I agree, mostly that's all you have to talk about from a spy photo of an unreleased car. I was acknowledging the fact raised by JD23 but saying it's also true about comments in general (here and elsewhere). So much talk about styling rather than people's experiences with the cars, features, etc. It's just a yawner topic to me because I really don't care what other people think about style. I (we) probably all make up our own minds about that. The interesting comments that help me decide on my next car are usually harder to find most of the time. That's what I was trying to say. I'm an engineering type not an artistic type. That's probably what drives that opinion

Interior Spy Shots
The latest spy shots prove that the ZDX’s interior will be very similar to the TL sedan. A navigation screen is mounted high atop the center stack, with plenty of hooding to protect it from outside light. The center stack appears to have the same overall layout as the TL, although it is a bit more sculpted. Acura’s quad gauge pack is clearly visible on the ZDX prototype

Fact is, the majority of people don't go out and buy or test drive 98% of the cars they discuss. So styling is all that they/we can offer an opinion on.

Eh...I can only hope it turns out alright.
Besides, I'll probably be in the market for a CUV come late fall/winter.

Not too many CUVs in the market range I'm looking at...
And certainly, the ZDX is not that amazing looking but it sure looks great compared to the abomination that is the BMW X6...
I'll reserve judgment once Acura officially releases it.

Hard to tell from the pics, but did Acura delete the Leather stitched dash?

If you like the ZDX style, and hate the X6, then I see an FX in your future.
I can't imagine owning the ZDX....the proportions are the epitome of horrible design....that front overhang ......and we won't even get into the beak.
The FX and X6 are the best looking in terms of overall design proportions...very well done.
Perhaps Acura will surprise us all with a new engine and transmission, but I highly doubt it. The Acura engine and tranny combos are getting tired...compared to all the other makes that you listed above.
No doubt SH-AWD is great, but that alone won't sell the vehicle.
The interior is quite nice, but at the same time it's basically the TL interior...I would have hoped for more....being that we are told this is the "new upscale direction" for Acura....a unique interior for the ZDX would have been fantastic.

I thought that we're getting a new 6speed auto pairing with the 3.7L V6.
