Well, it's not, but any attempt to disabuse you of this notion would likely be fruitless.

so usual suspects have spent months on this forum repeating the same complaints out of a sense of pragmatic brand loyalty. yeah, okay.

WTF is brand Loyalty?

Unless they give me a car for free and treat me like a king or they pay me dividend, why the hell should i have brand loyalty?

Last time i checked, i have a pay a shit load of $$ to them.

It is my $$$, whoever offers the best car within my affordability will get my $ regardless brand. defending a car simply because of its brand = fanboy (YOU)

okay then, so you've spent all this time complaining in order to accomplish what exactly?

And here you are complaining about other people "complaining", so what exactly are you trying to accomplish? Did someone from Acura PR slip you a $50 to shill for their vanilla ice cream cone of a car?

1. Hopefully Acura will listen and improve. If you don't ask for something, it is not going to fall off from the sky on its own. If the reviews and everyone else did not complain about the 4G design, you think Acura just woke up one day and realized that it was a bad design on its own?

2. this is a public discussion forum, so do just that... discussing cars, that includes critisim and fanboys like you alike.

What is the point of this forum and no one has anything to say?

The only brand "loyalty" I have to ANY car is maybe Pagani, Ferrari, and Aston Martin...but, watch...when they start churning out , I'll be just as quick to say they are overpriced pieces of crap.

Brand loyalty.

It's not like anyone has a vested interest or gets royalties from the manufacturer here.

Just saying that Acura's cars can now be compared to cars like the Maxima because Acura's lack of innovation. Another example is people are cross shopping the Honda Accord with the Acura TL because features and performace are similar. However I assume they will bump up the Maxima power to over 350 HP with will make the TLX a laughing stock.

1. the sales numbers did all the talking necessary. I'm thinking the sales numbers will say something else regarding the tlx.

2. sure discuss all you want, but I just don't see the profit in repeating the same complaints ad infinitum, unless you just enjoy voicing the same complaints repeatedly.

they'll be the same complaints tomorrow and the next day.

You are free, of course, to put each of us on "Ignore" so you can just chat with others who want to overlook any and all negatives. No one's forcing you to read any of what's being said.

I'm just trying to understand what folks hope to accomplish here. seems to me like complaining for the sake of complaining.

All you do on here is and because people don't agree with you. And then you get pissed off because you feel like you need to compensate for the bland, inoffensive, middle of the road, nothing special or innovative TLX that gives you a boner by telling everyone else they shouldn't voice their opinions.

I didn't say don't voice your opinion, I asked why it's necessary to repeat the same handful of complaints day after day for months on end. and here you are on the attack, as usual.

Because nothing ever changes, maybe if the crap they put out started getting better there'd be less to complain about. (I bet you never gave that a thought)

And if your feelings really get so hurt by everyone here, maybe you should get off Acurazine and go to Acura.com. They have multiple flavors of uninspired, boring vanilla there for you.

if "nothing ever changes" then complaining is just a waste of time unless you just like complaining.

And I thought your track video posts and "you can't drive rwd cars in snow" comments made you special.

so instead you want us to say how Acura is a good value buy, reliable, and good MPG 100 times a day?

The "complaints" you hear is just as repetitive as what the fanboys saying about Acura.

tell me something new that Acura is doing good these days that i have not heard 100 times already..... wait you can't.

fair enough. I guess I just don't like spending my time on something I don't like. I like the tlx, so I'll spend time on it. to each their own I guess.

They're obviously the best company that is using Ludacris as a spokesperson.

Because deep down there is a little part of us that hopes that someday they might listen, might listen and NOT settle for 2nd best or chasing the others. Thats why!

I like the TLX. But it's hardly compelling. Therefore, I hardly spend any time on it. Are things always so cut and dry?

Let me know when they make a SH-AWD variant with a turbo V6 + 6MT. I'll definitely be interested then.

I do expect from Acura don't stressing too much this point. Bmw, Merc or Audi never say in their ads: "this is OUR best car"... our best effort... and so on. They say: "this is the best car in its class"... It's a huge difference. If you continue repeating that the TLX is the best they have done, than what about the RLX and so on?...

skd2k1 will say that the NSX is the hottest car they've ever made.

But the 2014 MDX is a regular production Acura vehicle, and this sort of thing is not suppose to happen.
