Think you'll be in pursuit of a small car in the next few years? GM has a number of products due for release in Canada that it hopes will capture buyers' hearts.
The 2005 Pontiac Pursuit is so named because it implies "performance, adventure and excitement," according to Donna Martin, marketing manager for small and sporty cars at GM of Canada. The automaker released on Aug. 7, 2003 a sketch of the upcoming model which will be built on GM's new Delta Architecture.
Both the Pursuit and its sibling, the Chevrolet Cobalt, will feature clean, contemporary designs, spacious interiors and excellent dynamic performance," GM said. Target customers will be those who are looking for a small, economical car, but with more features and an "upscale look and feel."
Both will appeal to consumers who want the size and efficiency of a small car, but with desirable features, better performance and an upscale look and feel.
The Pursuit sedan is set for launch in 2005, with the Pursuit Coupe following in 2006.

That ain't bad at all. I like. Has anyone else noticed the size of car grills and emblems nowadays. They are outta control. All new cars are SUV like with these huge grills.

Some people's ignorance and hatred for certain brands (i.e. Ford & GM products) clouds their judgement.
I'm not saying this car will take the industry by storm, or even be a better car than the Civic, Mazda 3, etc.. but it's far from a POS.
