Would this work.
Would this work.
I was just driving along and this idea hit me and i was wondering will it work. I know that only low freq are goin to the bose amp to the woofer. If I was to tap into one on the speakers in the doors and unhook the wire that are sending the lows and put my wire from the other speaker to it. I dont know much about how a audio system works so I may just be saying something that is not even possible.
ok if im understanding you correctly you want to tap the wire going to the door speaker and put it on the sub, to get the sub to play what the door speakers are playing? to do that you would have to tap into the line going from the radio to the door speakers amp then hook that into the sub amp. it is possible to do this but you wouldnt want to. a sub is designed to play only low frequencies to put a full range signal to it ( all frequencies) would make the sub play at a little lower volume than it is now and can potentially do severe damage to the sub, like fry the voice coil. if this isnt what your asking please reply and be as specific as possible. hope this helps

. That's why you cross the frequencies to have different bands sent to different speakers...
