So i know a guy who has 2 subs in his accord, and he tells me that he didn't bolt it down, he said that it's too heavy for any movement, so i was wondering if this is true?

yeah you would want it to be removable for the times when you go to the track

Just go buy some heavy duty velcro and put it on the bottom of the box. It won't move.

I'd also suggest that you beef up the area underneath the box. The area in the back of the trunk is not very stable if you just place your box on the carpet.

so where do you usually bolt your amp down? I'm thinking about either putting it on the box, or behind the backseat.

I have a single enclosure with one 12 and my amp is mounted to the box and it dosent move at all. ITs pretty damn heavy for one sub.
