i am assuming you are talking about adding an aftermarket sub to the factory headunit. if this is the case then this is what you need to do: The amp that will power the sub needs 3 things Constant power, switched power and ground. You can get the ground in the trunk by touching it to bare metal back there. The switched power you can get from behind the factory radio, and the constant power will need to come directly from the battery. There wasn't much space in the footwells to drill a new hole in the firewall when i ran my constant from the battery so i used a pre-existing grommet. all you have to do from there is just run it along the side of the car and under the back seat to get it into the trunk. you can do this really however you see fit since you would know best what kind of look you are going for. let me know if you have any more questions.

If you remove the back seat, the half with the center rest, there's an amp on the passenger side, you can tap into those wires if you plan to keep the sub or you can disconnect the wiring harness and plug your own wires into it to give signal to your amp. I do not remember the wire colors, I believe they are blue and orange/brown. But there are only 2 wires going into it.

here check out this link it has the wire colors for you
http://www.acura-tl.com/forum/showth...threadid=68321

the rear seat is bolted in. if you stck your hand inbetween the backrest and the cussion by the belt buckles (the part that hold the seat belt) there should be bolts in there. i cant remember off my head but i think 1 on each side. then the cussion should lift up. the front part of the cussion just clips in so just give it a tug. then you should see the rear bolts and it then lifte straight up
